My widget isn’t updating
iOS controls when widgets refresh. Open the app once — that triggers a fresh fetch and reloads the widget timeline. If it still looks stale after a few minutes, long-press the widget → Edit Widget → switch to a different verse style and back.
I bought Pro but the app still shows the paywall
Tap Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. The App Store will re-check your Apple ID and unlock Pro within a few seconds. If the paywall stays, sign out / in to your Apple ID under Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases and try again.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Bible Widget → Cancel. Apple owns the entire subscription lifecycle — we can’t cancel on your behalf, but Apple’s flow is one tap.
Refunds
All refunds go through Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, find the Bible Widget purchase, and request a refund. Apple usually decides within 48 hours.
How do I change the verse translation?
Open the app → Settings → Translation. Pick KJV (classic English), BSB (modern English), Reina-Valera 1909 (Spanish), Almeida (Brazilian Portuguese), or Ang Biblia (Tagalog).
The AI surfaced a verse that didn’t fit
Tap the dislike icon on the verse card. The next refresh will avoid that theme. Like the verses that do land — that signal is what makes the picks improve.
I want to delete my data
Email hello@biblewidget.io and tell us the rough date you installed the app and the Apple ID region you bought from. We’ll purge any backend record we can match to your device within 7 days. We don’t collect your name or email, so we may need a follow-up to confirm.
